Music Norway: DRIVE Programme, London Edition
It’d been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with my friends and long-time colleagues at Music Norway to design the programme for the London leg of their DRIVE programme, an accelerator for managers from the Norwegian industry.
Kicking off with meetings with the likes of Universal Music Publishing and Sony Music Publishing, the programme also included a ’live lunch’ with bookers and promoters, a social media masterclass from Something Something, office visits to Secretly Distribution, AWAL and Tile Yard, and roundtable meetings to dig into legal and managerial topics with UK representatives from both areas, as well as a professional reception at the Norwegian Ambassador’s Residence in London. The trip concluded with a trip to the MMF Awards, after a busy few days of networking and exploring the UK music market.
