Francine Gorman is a writer, editor, content producer and music consultant based in London, England.
Having trained as a music journalist at Paris-based music and culture magazine Les Inrockuptibles, Francine headed to London in 2011 to become the Features Editor of new music website The Line of Best Fit, going on to join music video platform Vevo as a Content Manager in 2012.
Parallel to these two roles, she also became the Editor of new Nordic music platform Ja Ja Ja, and a booker for their monthly club nights in London and Berlin. Expanding her role in the Nordic music scene, Francine become the Editor of the Nordic Playlist platform and has been working for the Nordic Music Export (NOMEX) since 2013.
Throughout her career, Francine has been a dedicated champion of new and emerging music, appearing as a guest speaker on BBC Radio 1 (UK), KEXP (US) and Sveriges Radio (Sweden) among others.
She is also a frequent commentator on current issues and concerns in the music industry, and has spoken live at events such as by:Larm (Norway), Iceland Airwaves (Iceland), Way Out West (Sweden), The Great Escape (UK), MAMA Conference (France) and Reeperbahn Festival (Germany), addressing topics ranging from the impact and future of streaming services, to strategic advice for artists looking to work in new territories.
Other than that, Francine can be found writing short stories, DJing, travelling, and watching Huddersfield Town.
